The 3rd Annual National Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Program, (NMJSP) authorized and endorsed event of the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation was held in Galveston October 15th.
The NMJSP 2023 queen Nazstazia-Simone Jubitana was crowned by Juneteenth pioneer Minister John Mosley, Sr. , following an opening speech by the creator of the authorized Juneteenth flag, Ben Haith. NJOF president Steve Williams served as the master of ceremonies.
The Miss Juneteenth National PAGEANT also held at that time, IS NOT the endorsed event of the organization that obtained the Juneteenth National Independence Day legislation signed in 2021.
The event naming the 2024 queen will be held next October in New Orleans LA hosted by Minister Mosley and Derreck Alexander.
