Let it be known that Bishop Dave Thomas of the Alaska Juneteenth Committee was elected to the National Juneteenth Observance Foundation Board of
Directors during the Thursday November 3, 2022, monthly meeting. As stated in the record of the meeting Bishop Thomas’ unwavering commitment to Juneteenth and his enthusiastic support of our founder the Rev. Ronald V. Myers Sr MD in the Alaska Juneteenth campaign make him the perfect addition to the NJOF Board of Directors.

Bishop Thomas, we welcome to the Board and look forward to working with you as we raise the awareness of Juneteenth across the United States of America and the world.
